Woodland theme baby shower

These letters started as cardboard letters from Michaels. The moss was applied with hot glue.

This Baby shower was a labor of love for a  friend. I worked closely with her sister to create the one of a kind decorations for the event.
For the rest of the bouquet decorations we used fine woven burlap as the table cloth. We utilized wooden slabs as stands for food items to bring depth and interest to the bouquet.  The decorations on the lights were made from grapevine garland.

I always make custom food label cards for my parties its one of the added details that helps guests feel at ease.

The baby's nick name was BEAN since its conception, The parents did not do ultra sounds or  want to know the sex prior to birth. The sign is made from onesies I tie dyed.
For the centerpieces I used wooden slabs with a drilled a hole. I inserted sticks to make a tree like center piece and we decorated the tables with moss covered squirrels

The party swag table. Guests got to take home great party Favors.

Custom theme Diaper cake and bouquet utensils

This was the reception and gift table. We made this little tree for guests to write encouraging messages to the mother.

We have a friend who owns a nursery so we had her bring several ficus trees to the event to make the theme more dynamic

Noah's Ark Themed Baby Shower

Baby showers are so important for helping the mom to be feel special and loved. Welcoming a new baby into the home is a stressful time. Its nice to kick back and have close family and friends pamper you and bring you lots of the things you'll need for the new arrival. I helped plan a Noahs ark baby shower for a friend. who's baby to be was going to be a boy. the best part about this theme was that they planned on naming him Noah. I was asked to handle the decorations. I painted a huge mural as the back drop for the photo booth.  the animals were detachable so that they could be used to decorate the nursery. wall behind the crib.

We had a scrap booking station set up at the table next to the photo booth so guests could write well wishes and make a page for the scrap book. We supplied paper, pens and lots of animal stickers. We printed out the photos  right there so at the end of the shower the mom to be had a scrap book to show her husband.

The food was an amazing multicultural experience. The mom to be was Filipino and from Hawaii so we enjoyed the mix plate.
This is just the desert table.YUM

My Favorite part about this theme. The cake was gorgeous!! we added the animals to it after the baker decorated it.

The plates were adorable

The utensils even had a custom label.

We made the main area festive. The children enjoed playing with the balloons.

The candy bar with custom labels for everything.

Garden Theme Baby Shower

This Baby Shower was a gift to a very special friend. She is expecting her first baby, a girl this spring. The baby's room is decorated with flowers, butterflys and lady bugs in the color scheme of  chocolate brown, pink and green.  I chose a palatte of Chocolate brown, hot pink, light pink and lime green for the shower decorations to mirror the babys room.  "The father to be" works with his parents at  the family run nursery. Since we decided on a garden theme we were able to  borrow plants to help make the space special and fun.

The Mother To be and baby

It's a girl banner made from onsies, the letters are stickers. This is a fun way to create a banner for the party and give a gift to the parents that can actually be used when the baby is born

Entry way detail one- I love the lattice that we added for height and the daisy topiary
