The Ombre Effect
Spring 2011 trend alert- go ombre! Ombre hair, ombre clothes, ombre shoes. It’s the modern way to rock a tye-dye look without looking like a hippie chick.
Ombre n. A French term meaning "shaded." Usually a multicolored stripe, with colors graduating from light to dark.
Ombre hair is among the top hair color style choices of celebrities for the 2011 Spring season. Sara Jessica Parker, Lauren Conrad, Hilary Duff and Shanae Grimes all have ombre tresses.

Garden Theme Baby Shower
This Baby Shower was a gift to a very special friend. She is expecting her first baby, a girl this spring. The baby's room is decorated with flowers, butterflys and lady bugs in the color scheme of chocolate brown, pink and green. I chose a palatte of Chocolate brown, hot pink, light pink and lime green for the shower decorations to mirror the babys room. "The father to be" works with his parents at the family run nursery. Since we decided on a garden theme we were able to borrow plants to help make the space special and fun.
